These terms apply when you buy from The Tea Emporium at theteaemporium.co.uk. They don’t affect your legal rights as a consumer.
1. Who we are
The Tea Emporium, Milton Keynes, UK. Email: sales@theteaemporium.co.uk.
2. Your order
We deliver to UK addresses only. When you place an order and pay, we email to confirm it, and our contract with you starts then. If we can’t supply an item, we’ll tell you and refund you in full for it.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling (£). The delivery charge is shown before you pay. Payment is taken through PayPal when you place your order.
4. Delivery
Delivery costs £2.95 and is free on orders over £25. The £25 is the value of the products in your basket, not counting gift wrap or the gift card add-on. Orders are usually delivered within 3–5 working days; this is an estimate, not a guaranteed date. See Delivery & Returns.
5. Cancelling and returns
You can cancel within 14 days of the day after you, or the person you sent it to, receive your order. Email us with your order number and we’ll send you our return address. Send the goods back within 14 days of telling us.
You pay the cost of returning the goods unless they are faulty or not what you ordered. We’ll refund the price you paid, including the standard delivery charge, within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you showing us you’ve sent them, whichever is sooner.
6. Faulty or incorrect items
If anything arrives damaged or faulty, or isn’t what you ordered, email us with your order number. We’ll replace it or refund you, in line with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
7. Our responsibility
We’re responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our failure to keep to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
8. Your personal information
See our Privacy Policy.
9. The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
