Here at The Tea Emporium, we very much like the Earth and have thoroughly enjoyed the Teas we have been able to cultivate. We would like for our future generations to experience and appreciate the Teas as much as we have. In order to contribute towards the sustainability of the Earth and offset the carbon emissions produced in bringing these global Teas to a single platform, we pledge to spend 1% of our Sales planting trees.

We are devastated that we haven’t been able to source a packaging material that that was made locally, represented our recycling values whilst at the same time provides excellent moisture protection, high aroma and UV protection. The perfect packaging material that ticked all our boxes was from the Far East and would have left a large Bigfoot sized carbon footprint whilst it was transported halfway around the world. In support of a local business, we have in the short term opted for locale over recycle. But we are working towards a solution which is both local and eco-friendly. Watch this space!
